Jennie from BLACKPINK has started her own agency called ‘ODD ATELIER’, and she will be joined by two managers from YG Entertainment.
According to a report by a Korean media outlet on December 29th, it has been confirmed that two managers from Jennie’s previous agency, YG Entertainment, have joined ODD ATELIER.
One is a head-level manager, and the other is a road manager. These are the individuals who have been closely supporting Jennie throughout her career.
According to a music representative, when Jennie created her own agency, she chose to collaborate with managers who had extensive experience working with her during her time at YG. Despite no longer being with YG, Jennie will still have her trusted hair and makeup staff taking care of her visual appearance.
ODD ATELIER is a label that Jennie started with her mom just last month.
Her label represents a creative space where attention-grabbing new things are brought to life. On December 24, Jennie shared on social media that she plans to establish a company called OA (ODD ATELIER), for her future solo endeavors.
She expressed her excitement for this new challenge and asked for support for both her solo activities and BLACKPINK.
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment confirmed on December 29th that they will not be signing additional contracts for individual activities with all the BLACKPINK members, including Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo. However, YG will continue to handle their group activities.
