Lisa from BLACKPINK has been chosen as the most influential person in Thailand.
According to The Nation, a local media outlet in Thailand, Lisa has been ranked as the most influential person in the country. This ranking was based on a survey conducted by Suan Dusit University in Bangkok from December 20 to 27 of last year.
Out of all the respondents in the survey conducted by Suan Dusit University, a whopping 28.1% chose Lisa as the most influential person in Thailand. Following her in the rankings was Pita Limjaroenrat, former leader of the Forward Movement Party (MFP), who secured the second spot.
Thai actor and broadcaster Kanchai Kamnerdploy came in third, while former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and leader of the ruling Pua Thai Party’s daughter, Paetongtarn Chinawa, landed in fourth place.
Additionally, Anntonia Porsild, the second runner-up at Miss Universe 2023, received a mention with 9.4% of the votes.
The Thai media outlet went as far as publishing a column that expressed how deserving Lisa is of respect and praise. They even mentioned that this achievement is not just a personal triumph for Lisa, but it’s also an honor and a source of pride for Thailand.
In other news, BLACKPINK renewed contract with YG Entertainment for group activities, however, it is not certain which label Lisa would sign with for individual activities.
