Felix from Stray Kids proves he has a golden heart by donating a whopping 100 million won.
On January 4, The UNICEF Korean Committee announced Felix of Stray Kids made a remarkable donation of 100 million won.
The Stray Kids member has always been passionate about helping those in need, and he continues to make a difference. With this incredible donation, Felix not only became the youngest member in UNICEF Honors Club history but also the first member in 2024.
His funds will be used to support children in Laos who are facing challenges with access to clean water, sanitation, and nutrition.
Laos faces significant challenges when it comes to drinking water, sanitation, and nutrition. Shockingly, only 18% of the population has access to safe drinking water, and a staggering 33% of children under 5 years old suffer from stunted growth. Felix’s donation will make a meaningful impact in addressing these issues and improving the lives of those affected.
Felix expressed his motivation for the donation by stating that he wanted to share the love he had received. He hopes that the children in Laos, who face numerous challenges due to polluted water, poor hygiene, and inadequate nutrition, will have the opportunity to grow up in a healthier and safer environment in the new year.
Cho Mi-jin, the Secretary-General of the Korean Committee for UNICEF, expressed gratitude for Felix’s generous donation and emphasized the significance of his warm sharing. The funds will be dedicated to enhancing the drinking water and sanitation conditions, as well as providing essential nutritional support for children in Laos.
