Jimin from BTS has caused quite a stir by unexpectedly re-entering the main album chart of the US Billboard.
According to the latest Billboard chart released on January 23rd, Jimin’s solo album FACE has made a surprising comeback, ranking 59th on the prestigious Billboard 200.
This achievement is believed to be influenced by the sequential release of FACE LP in different countries and regions starting from December last year.
The sales volume of the LP, which began shipping in the United States in mid-January this year, has definitely contributed to the success of FACE.
FACE by Jimin has not only achieved second place on the Vinyl Album chart, but it has also tied the record for the highest ranking by a K-pop solo artist, which was previously held by RM’s solo album Indigo.
Additionally, FACE has reached the top spot on the World Albums chart and made a comeback on the Top Album Sales and Top Current Albums charts, landing at #4 on both.
