LE SSERAFIM is facing a ton of criticism for their unstable live vocals during the Coachella 2024 performance. Even though they received praise from big names like NME and Billboard, netizens are calling them out and wondering if they need to practice more.
Some are going as far as to claim that HYBE is to blame for the issue, holding the agency responsible for the recent subpar vocal displays by LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT.
Amidst all the criticism, Sakura broke silence and shared a lengthy post on Weverse addressing the backlash.
Regarding their debut Coachella performance, she shared, “We really prepared for this performance, suffered, and enjoyed it,” and added, “I was able to show all of it on the day of the actual performance.”
She admitted that everyone may not like their performance, “It may be immature in someone’s eyes, but no one is perfect,” and continued saying, “It’s an unwavering fact that it was the best performance we’ve ever shown.”
Lastly, She thanked FEARNOTs, staff, dancers, and band and promised to put on a powerful show next week.
