K-pop star Yeonjun from TXT has proven himself to be a true hero off-stage as well!
With a generous donation of 50 million won to the Hallym Burn Foundation, Yeonjun is supporting the brave men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe. His contribution will help provide crucial medical and trauma treatment to firefighters.
On May 2, the Hallym Burn Foundation, led by Chairman Heo Jun, revealed that it received a 50 million won donation from TXT’s Yeonjun. The donation will go towards supporting medical expenses for firefighters and the Firefighter Trauma 119 Program, a specialized trauma treatment initiative.
The Firefighter Trauma 119 Program is a collaborative project between the Hallym Burn Foundation and Professor Lee Byeong-cheol from the Department of Psychiatry at Hallym Korea Kang Sacred Heart Hospital.
The Hallym Burn Foundation is carrying out a customized mental health recovery program for firefighters who experienced trauma while battling fires. The initiative also includes a support project aimed at covering firefighters’ medical and nursing costs.
The donation from Yeonjun will go towards paying for firefighters’ medical costs and running a program to provide psychological and emotional recovery support.
Chairman Heo expressed his gratitude to the K-pop star for assisting in ‘stabilizing the emotional and psychological stability of firefighters.’
