On May 10 at 11 am, a production presentation for the Netflix series The 8 Show took place at the Grand Ballroom of the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Ryu Jun Yeol and the cast and production team of the show.
At the event, the Alienoid actor addressed the recent controversy surrounding his relationship and breakup with actress Han Sohee, as well as his past relationship with ex-girlfriend Hyeri, which had been the subject of much speculation.
In response to a reporter’s question, he explained saying, “Amidst issues related to my personal life, various posts were posted on social networking services (SNS) against my will at the time, and I got into trouble.”
He went on to add that instead of answering each question individually, “I thought it would be best to remain silent and deal with the resulting criticism.”
He also addressed the criticism he received for being a caddy at a golf event. He stated that attending the Masters allowed him to carefully consider public criticism and reflect on himself.
