After releasing their last album in June 2023, fromis_9 expressed their eagerness to make a comeback and continue promoting.

Following that, fans criticized PLEDIS for not giving them enough opportunities to present their music.

In response to the criticism, PLEDIS Entertainment has now shared their upcoming schedules and plans for the highly anticipated comeback.

Besides all, what shocked netizens the most was that the group has yet to receive their first payment, 7 years into the debut.

During a Weverse live on May 17, a group member, Park Jiwon, revealed her wish for 2024 is to receive the first pay by the end of the year.

fromis_9 members appeared quite surprised by Park Jiwon’s remarks.

Netizens, particularly fans of fromis_9, were left stunned and confused by Park Jiwon’s comment, with many questioning whether she meant her ‘first pay of the year’ instead.

The idea that fromis_9, who debuted in 2018, had not received any payment in six years of promotional activities seems unimaginable to many.

Nonetheless, fans are eagerly awaiting an official statement regarding fromis_9’s payment. They strongly desire fair treatment for the group and hope that they will be given the same opportunities as other HYBE groups.
