BTS’ RM dropped his second solo album Right Place, Wrong Person today (May 24).
The album is receiving an overwhelming response from fans and international fans.
What got everyone talking was when BTS RM referenced SUGA’s INTRO: Never Mind lyrics in one of his recent tracks, Groin.
Fans are adoring how BTS members stay connected in special ways during the break and reference each other in their solo works.
INTRO: Never Mind was released in November 2015 by the rapline. In SUGA’s part, one of verses is If you think you’re gonna crash, accelerate even harder, you idiot.
Nearly a decade later, RM referenced SUGA’s lyrics in Groin, If I feel like I am going to crash, then I just accelerate even harder.
His new album is all about universal feelings that everyone has felt at some point, a stranger who does not fit in.
SUGA and RM are the two main rappers of BTS and have admired each other on numerous occasions. In fact, the Wild Flower performed the pre-release track, Come back to me, at SUGA’s D-DAY tour in Seoul last year.
On another note, he is currently serving in the military and is expected to be discharged in June 2025 along with other members.
