A Woman in Her 30s Has Been Arrested For Stalking BTS Member V

On October 27, KBS reported that the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul is investigating a woman in her 30s, identified as Ms. A, on charges of violating the stalking punishment law.

Ms. A is accused of stalking BTS member V on the 26th October by entering the elevator at his home and engaging in conversation with him.

Ms. A had been waiting in front of V’s home when he got into his car and entered the apartment parking lot, she followed him. It is alleged that she even handed over a marriage certificate to him. Notably, it has been revealed that Ms. A has a history of stalking V in the past.

According to the police, Ms. A allegedly visited V’s house the afternoon before and is accused of attempting to approach him, which violates the stalking punishment law. 

It has been discovered that Ms. A has a history of multiple visits to V’s house in the past. The police are also investigating whether she is the same woman who visited V and handed over the marriage certificate.

In response to the arrest of the stalker, BIGHIT MUSIC stated, “We are responding with zero tolerance to stalking crimes that violate artists’ privacy and threaten their safety.” 

Previously, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that they would take legal actions against individuals who post malicious comments and invade the privacy of BTS members.
