ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin Responds to HYBE’s Accusations in an Explosive Press Conference

Earlier today, HYBE released a final statement and audit results confirming ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin’s takeover attempt and vowed to protect NewJeans.

Shortly after that, it was revealed that a Min Hee Jin press conference will be held today to address the allegations.

Upon entering the hall, the ADOR CEO said that the shuttering sound of cameras makes her uncomfortable since she is not a celebrity.

She expressed disbelief and shock at how far HYBE has gone, stating, “I knew they would do anything to put me in a trap but I didn’t know my private messages would go public. All of this doesn’t make any sense and I want to ask them why they’re doing this.”

Previously, it was reported that CEO Min accused TWS, ILLIT, RIIZE, and BTS of copying NewJeans. She firmly denied the reports saying she does not why HYBE is doing this, “I would never do such a thing out of “money” and what they’re claiming isn’t true,” and added, “I never said “BTS copied me” and stuff like that.”

She revealed HYBE is doing this because the agency does not need her anymore. Min Hee Jin shared, It’s literally like “You don’t listen to us anymore, we don’t need you”. Let me ask you, none in 30 years of K-pop history has done like NewJeans and you’re treating me this way?”

She shared that HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk never congratulated or appreciated her or the group for their accomplishment. The only time he contacted them was when NewJeans debuted on Billboard Hot 100, saying, “Congratulations, are you happy now?”

Min Hee Jin revealed that she once got a message from Bang Si Hyuk out of the blue, saying, “You can destroy aespa, can you?” She replied, “Hahaha” was all I could say because that got me so funny. I wouldn’t do that – I wouldn’t destroy them or anyone. That isn’t my goal.”

She informed reporters that she is going to press charges against HYBE for disclosing private messages. Hee Jin shared that she contacted Shaman to ask, “How were we to plan our steps if the company’s ace team is going to the military?”

Back when the whole feud started, ADOR revealed in a formal statement that ILLIT copying NewJeans concept was the root cause of conflict. At the press conference, she shared, “Each label needs to keep its uniqueness, like with ILLIT. I’m not talking trash about them. They’re innocent, the members – it’s the adults that have sinned.”

In addition, NewJeans members were initially trainees at SOURCE MUSIC, a label under HYBE, before transferring to ADOR.

Min Hee Jin explained that this occurred before HYBE acquired SOURCE MUSIC. Bang Sihyuk, proposed purchasing SOURCE MUSIC to establish a new girl group label using existing trainees.

Initially hesitant, Min Hee Jin eventually agreed because she had recently started working at HYBE. She typically prefers to start projects from scratch but felt compelled to align with Bang Sihyuk’s vision. While acknowledging that starting her own label would have been ideal, she joined HYBE for its established infrastructure, including a supportive team and system.
