After singing a song for Apple TV’s Fraggle Rock, aespa sang the theme song for the Netflix movie Rebel Moon: Part Two Scargiver.
aespa featured on the Inspired By EP of the Netflix film Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver. They dropped Die Trying at midnight on April 4, a collab with Korean-American DJ TOKiMONSTA from LA, gaining worldwide music fans’ immense interest.
The theme song Die Trying sung by aespa is featured in Bae Doo-na’s role as Nemesis in the production.
Apart from aespa, the EP released at midnight on April 4 includes a diverse lineup of global artists like Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez, Latin pop producer Tainy, Dominican Republic rapper Tokischa, and Black Coffee. Various artists like Black Coffee and Kordhell took part in this theme song collaboration.
Previously, aespa dropped the theme song Hold On Tight for the Apple original movie Tetris and the opening track We Go for the TV anime Pokemon: Rico and Rod’s Adventure.
They’ve been busy with various OSTs, such as the recent Apple TV+ show Fraggle Rock and the track Get Goin’.
In other news, aespa is gearing up for a comeback in May, as per SM Entertainment.
