aespa is not coming slow, especially after making history with their recent Daesang win!

On September 8, aespa performed on the final day of the 2024 The Fact Music Awards (TMA) and took home three awards including Daesang (Grand Prize).

With this, they became the first female K-pop group to win the Grand Prize in the history of TMA. To celebrate this historic win, aespa spoiled an upcoming song titled, Whiplash.

aespa leader Karina teased a new song, saying, “We want to try spoiling our new song here without the company’s knowledge.”

She revealed that the group is set to make a comeback soon with the song, Whiplash. Karina shared that it is a fun and refreshing song just like their latest hits Supernova and Armageddon. They even spoiled the signature point of their choreography for the song.

One of the title tracks Supernova from the album Armageddon, released in May, has shattered many streaming records. It is still occupying the top spots on major domestic music charts.

Furthermore, Supernova is predicted to win ‘Song of the Year’ at year-end award ceremonies due to its immense popularity.

Now, fans are excited for their new song Whiplash, and looking forward to seeing if it would make the same impact as Supernova.

Release details of Whiplash will be announced at a later date.
