Fantagio, Cha Eunwoo’s agency, provided an update today. They mentioned that after the article about the incident at K Arena Yokohama was published, they checked on the situation.
According to them, the True Beauty actor had already returned home after his performance, and they have not been able to confirm what happened after that. The agency stated that they do not have any further details to share regarding the incident.
Cha Eunwoo was honored with the Global Icon Award at the MTV VMAJ 2023 music award ceremony held at K Arena Yokohama on November 22. In his acceptance speech, he expressed his gratitude to AROHA, the devoted fans of ASTRO, for their unwavering support.
He mentioned that he wanted to repay their love by delivering an incredible performance. He graced a special stage and created a warm and inviting atmosphere with a Japanese song “Let’s Say Goodbye to the One I Love the Most” from 2021.
Around 5:45 PM on the same day, there was an unfortunate incident where a woman in her 40s was stabbed in the abdomen with a knife, resulting in serious injuries. The police are currently searching for the person responsible for this.
