Hongjoong from ATEEZ, has been honored with membership in the prestigious Bob Pierce Honor Club of World Vision, a renowned international relief and development NGO.
On May 20, KQ Entertainment announced on the 20th that he had been appointed as a member of the prestigious Bob Pierce Honor Club.
The ATEEZ’s leader was being recognized for his kindness and generosity. He has donated over 100 million won to help people in need around the world through World Vision. He’s a great example of someone who cares about others and wants to make a difference.
The 25-year-old idol has been consistently supporting meaningful causes. In November 2022, he donated 10 million won to the Dream Support Project, helping children in Korea achieve their dreams.
In March, he contributed 50 million won to World Vision’s Global Drinking Water Project in Zambia. Most recently, on Children’s Day (May 5), he showed his support for youth in family care.
The Bob Pierce Honor Club is a special group of people who have donated a lot of money to World Vision. It was named after the founder, Bob Pierce. This group promotes a culture of giving and transparency, showing how donations make a real difference.
He expressed excitement on being appointed as a regular member of the club saying, “I am happy to be able to meaningfully share the love I received from my fans. With this appointment to the Bob Pierce Honor Club, I want to work hard to promote more interest in and the value of sharing for the underprivileged in our society.”
