ATEEZ’s San is returning to his roots in Namhae to spread love and joy in his community. The K-pop star will connect with fans and share in the hometown pride at a special spring event.
San is heading back to his hometown of Namhae to celebrate the ‘2025 Year of Hometown Love Visitation’. He will attend the ‘Namhae Spring Walk’ event on April 19 at 2 PM at the Jukbangryeom Promotion Center in Samdong-myeon, Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.
This event is part of Namhae’s efforts to promote local tourism and culture. The Namhae Spring Walk is a 4km walk along the coastal road from the Jukbangryeom Promotion Center to Jeondo Small Park. The route offers scenic views of Jukbangryeom, a popular fishery heritage site, and the Jijok Strait.
Several activities are planned for the event:
- ‘SamDong (How about here)’ Certification Shot Event: Show proof of purchase from restaurants and shops in Samdong-myeon (via receipts or social media posts) to receive gifts.
- ‘Treasure Hunt on Treasure Island’: Search for hidden treasure notes along the coastal road for a chance to win souvenirs.
- ‘Spring Spring Quiz Time’: Test your knowledge with a final quiz and win prizes.
- Jukbangryeom Kit-Making Booth: Get hands-on experience creating your own Jukbangryeom kits.
San is a native of Namhae-gun and its public relations ambassador since 2021, He has openly expressed his love for his hometown on several occasions.
San has shown his support for Namhae through various actions, including a donation of 5 million won. The ATEEZ member is scheduled to attend the ‘Namhae Spring Walk’ event, where he will likely share more about his hometown and its attractions with visitors. This visit is another opportunity for the 25-year-old K-pop star to engage with his community and promote the area he cares about.
The ‘Namhae Spring Walk’ event is now open for applications. The first 500 participants can register on a first-come, first-served basis through the Namhae-gun website until April 16. If there are any remaining spots, on-site applications will be accepted.
