B1A4 members CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan have officially parted ways with WM Entertainment after 14 years together.
On December 23, WM Entertainment released a statement announcing that the agency and B1A4 had “mutually agreed to end their exclusive contracts” following “in-depth discussions.”
The company thanked the members, stating, “We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the B1A4 members, who have shared 14 years with us based on trust.”
Although their contracts have ended, WM Entertainment emphasized that their relationship with B1A4 is not over.
The agency stated, “Although the exclusive contract with our company has come to an end, given the deep bond we have built over a long period of time, we will continue to sincerely support B1A4 so that they can take an even greater leap forward at their new home.”
WM also confirmed that it will maintain a “cooperative relationship” with the group as RBW Japan continues to support B1A4’s overseas activities.
B1A4 debuted in April 2011 as a five-member group with Jinyoung, Baro, CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan. Over the years, the group released many hit songs and went through multiple lineup changes. In 2018, Jinyoung and Baro left the team, after which B1A4 continued promoting as a three-member group.
As a trio, CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan have remained active, releasing music and holding concerts. Their most recent group release was the EP Connect in January 2024, and they held a joint concert titled “Fly with Light” with ONF in Taipei on June 21, 2025.
