On June 17 at midnight (KST), YG Entertainment dropped a teaser announcing a July comeback date.
As per the newly unveiled ‘RSVP’ trailer, the group is set to drop a new single on Monday, July 1 at midnight.
On May 20, YG’s top producer Yang Hyun Suk revealed comeback plans for BABYMONSTER and TREASURE.
He revealed that they will release a new single in early July followed by their first full-length album in September or October.
Earlier, there was news that many producers have signed up with YG Entertainment, so the groups under the company will be more active, having speedy comebacks.
Following BLACKPINK’s success, YG is going all out to establish BABYMONSTER as the next popular K-pop girl group.
The group is quite active, holding fanmeetings across Asia, after the release of their debut mini-album, BABYMONS7ER.
BABYMONS7ER became the highest-selling debut album by a K-pop girl group in the first week, surpassing ILLIT.
Now, the expectations are at an all-time high for their new single dropping on July 1. The title of the new single as well as other details and promotional content will be revealed later.
