tvN’s Our Universe tells the story of an unusual co-parenting adventure between Bae In Hyuk’s Seon Tae Hyung and Roh Jeong Eui’s Woo Hyun Jin. The new Wednesday-Thursday drama begins when the two in-laws, who do not get along at first, suddenly become the guardians of their 20-month-old nephew, Woo Joo, played by Park Yoo Ho.
tvN is set to premiere its new drama, Our Universe, on February 4, 2026, at 10:40 PM, but the OTT platform has not yet been decided.
On January 6, tvN released a “disaster teaser” showing the unusual co-parenting life of Seon Tae Hyung and Woo Hyun Jin. During a thunderstorm, the house is in chaos. There are red handprints on the wall, water cups scattered, and flour covering the living room.
When the lights turn on, they see little Woo Joo at the center of the mess. Their laughter hints at the challenges and humor of raising a child together. The teaser called it the “In-laws Co-Parenting Project.”
Seon Tae Hyung (Bae In Hyuk) is a photography assistant with a rough exterior but a warm heart. He is skilled at his work and carries personal emotional burdens. Through his connection with Woo Hyun-jin, he meets the brother he has been searching for 16 years.
Woo Hyun Jin (Roh Jeong Eui) is a cheerful job seeker who dreams of a normal life. One day, an accident forces her to take care of her nephew, which changes her plans and life completely. Park Seo Ham also joins the story as Yoon Sung, Woo Hyun Jin’s first love.
The first teaser poster, released on January 2, 2026, shows little Woo-joo gleefully throwing a bowl of cereal in a colorful, messy kitchen. The tagline, “My universe that fell from the sky like a disaster without warning.”
The drama is directed by Lee Hyun Seok and Jung Yeo Jin and written by Su Jin and Shin Yi Hyun. Instead of a typical love story, it focuses on two people navigating sudden parenthood together. The supporting cast includes familiar faces like Ku Sung Hwan, Choi Gyu Ri, Oh Hyun Joong, and a special appearance by Park Ji Hyun.
Our Universe marks the return of tvN’s Wednesday-Thursday drama slot after a three-year break. The drama will air starting February 4, 2026, at 10:40 PM on tvN.
