Bang Chan, the leader of Stray Kids, has finally joined Instagram. With over 1.9 million followers in just a few hours, it’s clear that fans are eager to see what the K-pop idol has in store for them.
For those who are new to the K-pop scene, Stray Kids members did not have separate official Instagram accounts. Previously, fans had to keep tabs on the official Stray Kids Instagram account to get all the updates. Today, Felix, Hyunjin, Bang Chan, Seungmin, Changbin, and I.N have joined Instagram.
Bang Chan is quite popular among the fandom for his leadership skills, charming personality, and impressive musical talents. As the leader of Stray Kids, he has participated in the production, composition, and lyrics of the group’s music.
Now that the Australian-Korean singer has joined Instagram, fans can expect to see a more personal side of him. While Stray Kids already has an official Instagram account, Bang Chan’s personal account will allow fans to get a glimpse into his life outside of the group. Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds, famous for “Deadpool,” has followed him on the ‘Gram.
Stay Kids recently headlined the biggest music festival in the world, Lollapalooza Paris, the first K-pop act to do so. So far, Bang Chan has shared his first posts where he is seen roaming the streets of Paris. He captioned the photo with ‘Positive energy and Similes’ with a hashtag #STAY and #0802. He has only shared one post on his new Instagram account so far. Hopefully, STAYs see him sharing behind-the-scenes footage from Stray Kids’ recent performances, giving fans a closer look at what goes into putting on a K-pop concert.
But it’s not just music-related content that fans can expect from Bang Chan’s Instagram. He will likely share photos of himself hanging out with his friends, giving fans a sense of what he’s like when he’s not performing. Of course, STAYs are over the moon as their favorite K-pop idols have joined Instagram.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids had a packed schedule with Lollapalooza Paris performance, STAYweeK, and an upcoming Japanese EP. The group released a song and fun content as part of celebrations for the fandom’s 5th anniversary. Six out of eight members joining Instagram is also a big, delightful surprise for the fans.
