BIGBANG members G-Dragon and Daesung made guest appearances at Taeyang’s solo concert, “The Light Year” in Seoul, on August 31st and September 1st.
Taeyang, the main vocalist, sang BIGBANG’s hit songs with his members on both days.
On August 31st, Daesung surprised fans by joining Taeyang on stage, and the next day, G-Dragon followed suit. He performed Good Boy with Taeyang amidst the loudest cheers from attendees. Fans were excited to see the three members share the stage and deliver fantastic performances after what seemed like ages.
DAMN you can’t really mess with GDRAGON when it comes to stage presence, huh? He was out there performing “Good Boy” with Taeyang wearing only a cardigan, cargo pants and a shirt + cap but that swag?? As if he was styled for a concert stage! He’s so GOAT! pic.twitter.com/iqlxoNSzCZ

Although they released a song in 2022, the group has not performed on stage together since 2017. The reunion, albeit partial, has sparked excitement and hope for a potential full-group comeback.
In addition, SEVENTEEN’s sub-unit BSS (Hoshi, DK, and Seungkwan) appeared as special guests at the concert. They performed their hit song Fighting and received appreciation from Taeyang.
G-Dragon also watched BSS perform and seemed to be enjoying their upbeat performance.

BIGBANG, a renowned boy group since their debut in 2006, has been inactive as a team for approximately three years following the release of Still Life in April 2022. During this period, the group underwent a lineup change, transitioning from a five-member team to a trio consisting of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, after the departures of Seungri and T.O.P.
They recently celebrated their 18th debut anniversary and the recent appearance of the three members at Taeyang’s concert has heightened expectations for a potential full-group comeback.
