Jennie from BLACKPINK is absolutely unstoppable! She’s breaking records left and right, and rewriting K-pop history as a soloist.

On February 29, Jennie’s debut single, Solo, reached over 1 billion views, making her the first female K-pop soloist to achieve this milestone. She’s also the second K-pop soloist overall to hit the 1 billion mark.

She is following in the footsteps of the legendary K-pop singer PSY, who first achieved a billion views on YouTube with his hit single, Gangnam Style.

Moreover, it has been an eventful past few months for the BLACKPINK member as she established her personal label, ODD ATELIER (OA) with her mother, and starred in an entertainment show, Apartment 404, after five years.

Besides all, she surpassed 1.4 billion streams on Spotify, that too, without releasing an album. Also, she became the K-pop artist with the most monthly Spotify listeners.

In addition, she secured a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with her single, One of the Girls. Now, she is coming with a full-length album this year to shake the music scene.

Considering her incredible talent and immense global popularity, she is expected to break numerous records with her upcoming debut album.
