Jisoo of BLACKPINK shines as a beloved K-pop idol, but what’s it like to go shopping with her? Her older sister, Jiyoon, gives fans a glimpse into their shopping adventures, where fun meets chaos.
In a recent interview, she was asked to share some experiences with her siblings.
Jiyoon revealed that there are too many memories to pick one, saying, “With Jisoo, we both loved shopping, so we used to go shopping together a lot. Every time we went out, Jisoo always looked so beautiful, she still is. While walking down the street, people would often ask for her contact number. When we went to buy pants, the staff and store owners would always ask for her phone number.”
She was also asked what it’s like to have a famous superstar as a sibling. Jiyoon shared that their relationship has not changed at all, “I do not really see her as a ‘famous celebrity’, she is just family to me. At family gatherings, she is just the regular youngest ‘kid’.”
She added, “The best part about her being a superstar is that I always feel welcomed wherever I go, like when I visit Dior because of her.”
Kim Jiyoon is more than just Jisoo’s sister but a model and an influencer. She has worked with top luxury brands and even reportedly as an air hostess in the past.
She is close to her sister Jisoo and they often appear together at public events to support each other’s passions.
On the work front, Jisoo has finished filming for the zombie thriller Newtopia and the movie Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. She is in talks to star in a new drama Monthly Boyfriend and is working on new music.
