There were rumors about Zico and Jennie collaborating on a song, however, the agencies refused to comment, saying it is ‘hard to confirm.’
On April 18, Zico dropped the news about his comeback by dropping a promo schedule on his personal social media. His digital single SPOT! is set to be released on April 26 at 6 PM, featuring Jennie.
He also shared videos and photos with the 28-year-old singer, who’s featured in the new song, on his social media.
Surprisingly, a snippet of the new song’s audio was included in a video from the recording studio. Fans can catch a glimpse of the melody and beat of the new song in a quick 20-second sound bite.
In the upcoming days, Zico plans to drop more recording studio making videos and photos on April 19 and 20. On April 21, the last recording studio BTS video will be revealed, followed by concept photos on April 22 and 23. Finally, music video teasers and behind-the-scenes photos are scheduled to be unveiled on April 25.
