BLACKPINK’s Jennie Announces Solo Fandom Name

Jennie from BLACKPINK is officially entering her solo era!

On September 19, the 28-year-old BLACKPINK member officially announced the name of her solo fandom on her official website.

A countdown began on September 18 prior to the announcement, and many were expecting an announcement related to her upcoming full-length album.

Jennie announced her Fandom name with a voice note, saying, “Hi RUBIES! It’s Jennie, stay tuned, see you soon, love you, bye.”

Her fans, previously known as Jensetters, will be called RUBIES. She is the second BLACKPINK member to announce a solo fandom name after Lisa. Previously, Rosé asked fans to suggest a name for her fanclub on her birthday in February.

As Jennie has signed with Sony Music’s Columbia Records, she will be releasing a new single in October. Fans can expect an announcement regarding her upcoming single soon.

Los Angeles has been her second home lately, as she pours her heart and soul into her debut album, which is slated to be released soon.

Well, Jennie has taken the first step by announcing soli fanclub name, with many more exciting announcements to follow.

Lastly, BLINKs will get to see the BLACKPINK girls reunite next year with the release of a new album and a world tour. This year, there are no BLACKPINK activities scheduled as Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa are all working on solo projects. In August, they reunited for a fansign and screening of their tour movie ‘Born Pink in Ciemas’.
