On May 16, Habitat Korea, a nonprofit organization, revealed that the 28-year-old singer donated 100 million won under the name of her fan club, BLINK.

This generous act aims to support Korean teenagers, helping them adjust to cultural and social changes in a healthy way.

Habitat Korea will use Jennie’s donation to build a new school for the Rodemnamu International Alternative School in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province.

This school is a home for Korean teenagers who have returned to Korea to live and study. Currently, they lack a suitable place to live and learn together, and a new school building is urgently needed to provide a safe and approved learning environment.

Habitat Korea thanked Jennie for her donation, promising to use her contribution to build a school that will help children achieve their dreams, made possible by her love for her fans. They pledged to start construction as soon as possible.

After establishing her label OA, Jennie has been busy with various projects, including her recent appearance on the tvN show Apartment 404 which concluded in April, and her feature on Zico’s latest single SPOT! released on April 26. Not to mention, she’s currently working on her debut full-length album, scheduled to release this year.
