Jennie from BLACKPINK has now included runway modeling in her list of accomplishments.
On June 10, the Solo singer walked the runway for the first time for the Jacquemus LA CASA show in Capri, Italy.
The event was held at Casa Malaparte in Capri to present the latest collection and celebrate the brand’s 15th anniversary. It was the first time a fashion show was held at Casa Malaparte, a modernist villa situated on the cliffs of Capri.
Jennie hit the runway for her debut and totally slayed it with her model-like walk. Her model bestie Shin Hyun Ji also walked the runway for Jacquemus LA CASA show.
As they passed each other, they reached out for each other’s hands, making fans swoon over their friendship. She is friends with Hyun Ji and they are often spotted hanging out together.
On the other hand, brand founder Simon Jacquemus, greeted Jennie enthusiastically as she closed the show. Both were spotted shooting in Capri ahead of the show.
Fans are praising the 28-year-old idol for confidently walking the runway and making the show more memorable.
Following Lisa’s runway debut in 2022, she is the second BLACKPINK member to add a runway model to her resume.
On the work front, she is set to release her debut solo album soon.
