Jennie, from the sensational group BLACKPINK, continues to dominate the brand reputation rankings even after starting her solo journey.
According to the Korea Business Research Institute’s announcement on January 21, Jennie claimed the number one spot on the girl group individual brand reputation ranking for January 2024.
She has now extended her record as the female idol with the most #1 rankings (27) in history on South Korea’s Individual Girl Group Brand Reputation Ranking.
The research institute examined a whopping 86,587,833 pieces of brand data from 655 girl group members over a one-month period, from December 21, 2023, to January 21, 2024.
This month’s brand reputation list is filled with some incredible names. Following BLACKPINK’s Jennie is Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, NewJeans’ Hanni, aespa Karina, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, NewJeans’ Haerin, aespa’s Winter, NewJeans’ Daniel, Red Velvet’s Wendy, NewJeans’ Minji, and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona.
Also included are Red Velvet’s Joy, BALCKPINK’s Rosé, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, NewJeans’ Hyein, Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Ive’s Jang Wonyoung, LE SSERAFIM Kazuha, IVE’s Ahn Yujin, Cosmic Girls’ Yeoreum, TWICE’s Jihyo, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, Red Velvet’s Irene, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, IVE’s Gaeul, Oh My Girl’s Arin, Oh My Girl’s YooA, and aespa’s Giselle.
Jennie started her own label called ODD ATELIER (OA) at the end of last year. She shared the news on December 24th, saying that she’s grateful for the past year and ready to embark on solo activities under her new company.
The Solo singer is not only focusing on her solo career but also working together with BLACKPINK’s agency, YG Entertainment.
YG officially announced on December 6th that they have signed an exclusive contract with BLACKPINK, based on a strong bond of trust. With YG’s full support, BLACKPINK is gearing up to release a new album and embark on a massive world tour.
In other news, Jennie is going to be a part of tvN’s new entertainment show called Apartment 404.
