The BLACKPINK vocalist is currently filming a new romantic comedy series, “Boyfriend on Demand”, which also stars Seo In Guk.

BLINKs were surprised to learn that Lee Soo Hyuk is part of the Kdrama as well when videos of him filming with Jisoo in Cebu, Philippines went viral.

Both were seen filming scenes for “Boyfriend on Demand” on an airport runway-like setting. It is quite a delightful surprise for fans and Kdrama viewers that the 36-year-old actor is part of the rom-com.

The production team has yet to reveal information about his role, whether he is making a cameo or playing a supporting role. Jisoo and Lee Soo Hyuk are not just colleagues; they are also labelmates, both being part of YG Entertainment.

“Boyfriend on Demand” is Jisoo’s first venture into the romantic comedy world, expected to premiere by year-end. The drama follows the story of Seo Mi Rae (Jisoo) is tired of playing it safe in love. So, she takes a chance on “Boyfriend on Demand”, a virtual dating experiment. It lets her explore connections with 900 different men, all without the fear of real-life heartbreak.

Meanwhile, Jisoo made her acting comeback on February 7 with Coupang Play’s “Newtopia”. That’s not all, she will drop her first mini-album “AMORTAGE” on February 14 followed by solo Asia tour “LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION”.
