BLACKPINK’s Rosé is in talks to join producer and 1TYM Teddy’s agency, THE BLACK LABEL.
However, fans are unhappy about the potential move and are taking to social media to express their concerns and urge the 27-year-old singer to not sign with the agency.
On June 17, Newsen reported that she would join THE BLACK LABEL to pursue her solo endeavors. Shortly after, the label confirmed that they are discussing and negotiating the contract terms with Rosé.
Some fans have shown their support for her and respect her choice to sign with the agency that she believes is the best fit.
On the contrary, hundreds of fans expressed concerns that this would negatively impact her career as a solo artist.
Stans are freaking out over the possibility of Rosé joining THE BLACK LABEL, worried she’ll be stuck in a creative bottleneck and lose the sparkle that’s made her a standout star.
Previously, she was rumored to join Columbia Records as she was spotted hanging out with CEO Ron Perry in a cafe in the US.
Furthermore, she is preparing to release new music for fans and has already shared a snippet of the upcoming track, Vampirehollie.
However, BLINKs are strongly opposed to Rosé signing with Teddy’s label or releasing new music under their umbrella.
In December 2023, all members of BLACKPINK decided to not renew contract for individual activities with YG Entertainment, with Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa establishing their own agency.
