On December 19, KOZ Entertainment, BOYNEXTDOOR’s agency, apologized for the incident at Qingdao Airport on December 16. They expressed their apologies to the fans for the issue caused by the bodyguard’s inappropriate behavior. 

Moreover, KOZ Entertainment has taken further steps to address the incident. The agency mentioned that they have personally apologized to the person affected and are checking on their physical and mental well-being, as well as any issues with their belongings. 

In addition, they assured fans that the security personnel involved won’t be assigned to their artist’s events in the future. Plus, they’re committed to enhancing security guidance and training to prevent similar problems from happening again. 

They apologize once more to the fans and are determined to provide better security measures. 

BOYNEXTDOOR’s agency has personally apologized to those who were directly affected by the incident and has offered follow-up care.

On December 18, there was a lot of controversy online when a bodyguard who was supposed to be protecting BOYNEXTDOOR members at the airport was caught on camera pushing a fan and sending them flying.
