The BTS rapper and dancer concluded the North American tour with final shows in Los Angeles, California on April 4 and 6. The world tour began in Seoul with three shows at KSPO Dome on February 8, March 1-2.

Over a week later, j-hope kicked off the North American leg of the tour with two concerts in Brooklyn on March 13 and 14. Then, he visited Chicago (March 17-18), Mexico City (March 22-23), San Antonio (March 26-27), Oakland (March 31-April 1), and LA (April 4, 6).

The “Sweet Dreams” rapper held 12 shows in 6 cities with approximately 178,000 fans in attendance. Ahead of his US tour, he released the song “Sweet Dreams” with Miguel on March 7, charting at #66 on Billboard HOT 100. Two weeks later, j-hope dropped another banger “Mona Lisa” on March 21 to express his heartfelt gratitude to fans.

During his solo concerts, he delivered electrifying performances of his hit songs such as “What If…”, “Arson”, “MORE”, “On The Street”, “Mic Drop”, “Chicken Noodle Soup”, “Neuron”, “Airplane”, and more.

International media outlets showered j-hope’s North American tour with praise. Forbes and LA Times praised his unwavering enthusiasm despite performing the same setlist across six cities.

During his ending ment, j-hope got teary-eyed and shared his thoughts, “No matter what anyone ever says, I feel and I really believe that my fans are the best, and I am the most proud of you.”

He added, “In the beginning, I wondered, will this moment ever come? You know, that includes everything. Will I actually be able to hold a solo concert on my own? And I also wondered, will I ever be able to go on a tour for all of these global fans? Will I be able to hold this meaningful concert here at the stadium by myself? And I actually did them all.”

Meanwhile, j-hope’s ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE‘ Asia tour is kicking off on April 12-13 in Manila, followed by stops in Saitama (April 19-20), Singapore (April 26-27), Jakarta (May 3-4), Bangkok (May 10-11), Macau (May 17-18), Taipei (May 24-25), and Osaka (May 31-June 1).
