The numbers are in, and they confirm what fans already knew: J-Hope is a legitimate touring force. The BTS member’s first-ever world tour has delivered some eye-popping figures that demand attention.

On April 30 (local time), fresh data from Billboard Top Tours in March revealed strong attendance and significant financial returns for his world tour “HOPE ON THE STAGE”.

As per Billboard’s monthly Boxscore chart, j-hope landed at No. 3 on the Top Tours chart for March 2025. The 31-year-old K-pop star earned $26.6 million and drew 149,000 fans across 10 shows. He currently holds four spots on the March 2025 Top Boxscores ranking.

His biggest numbers came from Mexico City, where back-to-back nights at Palacio de los Deportes racked up $6.1 million alone. The numbers stayed strong stateside, with $5.2 million from San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center (26,800 attendees), $5.1 million at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center (27,100 fans), and $5 million at Chicago’s Allstate Arena (24,800 tickets sold).

The tour kicked off with three shows in Seoul before heading to North America. That kind of international pull isn’t easy to achieve, especially for a first-time solo tour.

With this achievement, j-hope became the highest-charting Asian on the list and one of the few K-pop solo acts to break into Billboard’s top touring tier.

The Columbian superstar Shakira’s March tour was the highest-grossing, earning $70.6 million from 11 shows with 554,000 fans, while Tyler, The Creator, came in second with $36.2 million from 17 shows, attended by 221,000 fans.

j-hope kicked off his world tour “HOPE ON THE STAGE” with three shows in Seoul on February 28 and March 1, 2. These shows alone attracted 37,500 fans followed by the North American leg that drew 178,000 fans. He began the Asian leg on April 12-13 with two shows in Manila, the last stop being Osaka.

As per the announcement by BIGHIT MUSIC on May 1, j-hope’s May 31 show in Osaka will be live broadcast in theaters in 70 countries worldwide.

In South Korea, the film will screen at 90 multiplex locations across all major cinema chains, including CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox.

Meanwhile, j-hope will hold concerts in Jakarta (May 3-4), Bangkok (May 10-11), Macau (May 17-18), Taipei (May 24-25), and Osaka (May 31-June 1).
