BTS members held their fourth Weverse live after military discharge to give fans the much-needed update on the forthcoming album. Fans were excited to see OT7 together, and they celebrated V’s birthday in advance.
During the livestream, Jungkook addressed one of the most anticipated topics among fans: the possibility of a solo concert. The 28-year-old idol responded honestly, saying, “Of course, solo concert has to happen, but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to. I wanted to do it so badly. But the timing… there just wasn’t anything that worked out.”
His words showed how much he wants to perform for fans on his own. The other members, j-hope and Jin, playfully joined the conversation, suggesting they could appear as guests or cover songs at his future concert.
This was not the first time Jungkook had spoken about his desire for a solo concert. In November, during a Weverse live, he reacted to an advertisement for J-Hope’s solo concert, saying, “I wonder if I’ll ever be able to hold a solo concert too.” This shows that the idea has been on his mind for some time.
Many fans understood his frustration at not being able to perform solo yet. They also pointed to external factors that may be causing the delay, such as his early military enlistment in 2023, BTS’s busy schedule for their 2026 group comeback, and company decisions.
Despite the delays, fans made it clear that they are ready to support him whenever a solo concert happens. Some fans commented

Rumors about a solo tour, sometimes called “GOLDEN,” had been circulating in 2025, with guesses about dates and cities. None of these were confirmed by BigHit Music, but they showed just how much fans are anticipating a solo stage.
For now, Jungkook is focused on BTS’s 2026 group comeback and world tour, after all seven members completed their military service. The long-awaited group album is scheduled for March 2026, followed by a massive world tour.
