A reunion that ARMYs have been waiting for months is just around the corner.
As reported by Dispatch, the BTS members will reunite to celebrate Jin’s discharge from military service on June 12. The group is planning to come together to welcome him, with other members already having requested leave to join in the celebration.
The Astronaut singer is set to complete his 18-month military service on June 12, after enlisting in the Army as an active-duty soldier in December 2022.
During his time in service, he was selected as a special warrior, and will now return to civilian life having faithfully fulfilled his military duties.
Jin’s military discharge is expected to be a low-key affair, with no official ceremony planned. Initially, the BTS members had planned to greet him at the unit, but due to concerns about crowds and congestion, they will instead celebrate his discharge at a private location in Seoul.
Following his military discharge, Jin will resume his personal activities, starting with his participation in the ‘2024 Festa’ celebrations. He will also host an intimate ‘hug party‘ with 1,000 lucky ARMYs. Additionally, he plans to release his highly anticipated solo album in the latter half of the year.
As for the other BTS members, J-Hope is set to complete his military service in October, and by June next year, the entire group will have finished their service.
