BTS’ SUGA, also known as Agust D and Min Yoongi, has made history on Spotify by surpassing 4 billion streams across his solo discography!

He has become the most streamed Asian rapper on the platform and the first Asian rapper to achieve this impressive milestone of 4 billion cumulative streams.

On July 14, the 31-year-old rapper hit a staggering 4 billion total streams, combining his solo work as Agust D and SUGA, along with five individual tracks from BTS albums.

Notably, he achieved 3 billion streams in August 2023, so he’s added a whopping 1 billion streams in under a year.

With this, he became the first Asian rapper to reach a staggering 3.5 billion streams solely with his solo work, excluding BTS album tracks.

This achievement is all the more impressive considering it’s based on just three solo albums and a handful of produced songs.

His solo track Haegeum, which he single-handedly produced, has hit a major milestone, surpassing 300 million streams earlier this month. On the Circle Chart’s mid-year rankings, Haegeum and That That (another song he produced and featured on) secured top spots.

Despite being on military leave, SUGA’s music is still making waves and breaking records. He is set to resume group activities with BTS members in June 2025 after completing military service.
