BTS’s V (Kim Taehyung) is once again at the center of dating rumors, this time involving choreographer Lee Jung. The speculation began after a video from Tyler, The Creator’s 2025 concert in Ilsan went viral. In the footage, V and Lee Jung are seen exchanging glances, which prompted fans to question the nature of their relationship.
This isn’t the first time V’s personal life has sparked public interest. In 2022 and 2023, rumors circulated about a possible relationship between V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie, fueled by photos of the two together.
While HYBE and YG never confirmed their relationship, Korean media outlets reported that the two broke up in December 2023 before his military enlistment. On another note, his rumored ex-flame Jennie also attended the Tyler, the Creator concert and shared multiple videos from it.
The recent rumors involving Lee Jung have garnered mixed reactions from fans. Some ARMY members welcome the speculation, viewing it as a shift away from the contentious V-Jennie rumors. Others remain cautious, noting that public appearances don’t necessarily confirm a romantic relationship. There are claims that V was actually looking at Martin of CORTIS, but it was misread.
Lee Jung, a former member of the dance crew Just Jerk, has collaborated with V in the past. Notably, shortly after V’s military discharge in June, the two performed a dance challenge to “Don’t Drop That Thun Thun (Remix 98 BPM)” and Sexyy Red and GloRila’s ‘WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME’ on Instagram, which quickly went viral. Both dance challenges have crossed 70+ million views and millions of likes.
Prior to that, they released a dance cover of Ludacris’ ‘What’s Your Fantasy that went insanely viral, racking up over 80 million views. At the time, the ‘Love Me Again’ singer was still serving in the military. Later, in an interview, Lee Jung shared: “Taehyung loves dancing just as much as I do, and that’s why we connect so well,” and added, “He is incredibly humble and even works harder than I do, which makes me feel like there is no room for compromise.”
ARMYs are flooding Lee’s comment section, and urging her to come clean about the dating rumors. As of now, neither V nor Lee Jung has publicly addressed the dating rumors.
In other news, HYBE confirmed Jimin’s past relationship with Song Da Eun after she shared a video of the BTS vocalist on her TikTok account, however, the label revealed that they had already broken up.
