His new duet song “Winter Ahead” (ft. Park Hyo Shin) has landed on the HOT 100, marking his fifth solo entry on the chart.

This is the fifth time that V has entered the chart, while it is the first time Park Hyo Shin has achieved this milestone.

On December 10, Billboard Charts announced that BTS V and Park Hyo Shin’s collaborative single “Winter Ahead” officially entered the Billboard HOT 100 chart, debuting at number 99.

Previously, the 29-year-old singer scored his first HOT 100 entry with OST “Christmas Tree” for Drama “Our Beloved Summer” in 2022 at No. 79. Billboard even named his best Christmas song of the 21st century.

He then entered the chart with “Love Me Again” (#96), “Slow Dancing” (#51), and “FRI(END)S” (#65).

“Winter Ahead” blends smooth jazz and pop elements, with romantic lyrics and a beautiful melody.

V entered the scene with BTS in 2013 and made his debut as a solo artist in September 2023 with the album “Layover.” This year, he released three singles “FRI(END)S in February and “Winter Ahead” (ft. Park Hyo Shin) and “White Christmas” with Bing Crosby in November and December respectively.

V enlisted in the military in December 2023 and will resume BTS activities in the latter half of this year.
