Check Out the First-Week Sales Figures for GOT7, (G)I-DLE’s Minnie, and KickFlip Releases

The latest K-pop releases received an overwhelming response with fans snapping up copies of new albums and singles. Last week, GOT7, (G)I-DLE’s Minnie, and KickFlip dropped their latest offerings.

As always, fans were eager to know which act came out on top in terms of sales. GOT7 made their comeback after nearly 3 years, (G)I-DLE’s Minnie made her solo debut, and a new group KickFlip burst onto the K-pop scene.

It is safe to say that they were important K-pop releases and fans were looking forward to seeing the album sales.

GOT7

GOT7 returned to the music scene after Jay B and Jinyoung completed military service last year. They began preparing for their comeback album and announced “WINTER HEPTAGON” in partnership with Kakao Entertainment.

“WINTER HEPTAGON”, dropped on January 20, and recorded 93,053 copies on the first day. The album sold the following copies on subsequent days

  • Day 2 – 6,293
  • Day 3 – 16,655
  • Day 4 – 1,264 
  • Day 5 – 3,451
  • Day 6 – 185
  • Day 7 -3,831

For the first week, GOT7’s long-awaited comeback album sold a total of 124,732 copies. With this, it secured the 10th spot on the highest 1st week sales by GOT7. Their 2022 comeback album “GOT7” recorded the highest first-week sales with 371,569 copies.

GOT7’s latest mini-album “WINTER HEPTAGON” also made a strong impact globally. It topped the iTunes album charts in 27 regions, including Australia, Brazil, France, and the Philippines, and reached the upper ranks in 49 regions worldwide.

The title track “PYTHON” claimed the number one spot on the iTunes single charts in 13 regions and ranked high in 41 regions. Other b-side songs from the album also dominated the top single charts globally.

(G)I-DLE’s Minnie

(G)I-DLE’s Minnie made her solo debut on January 21 with the mini-album “HER”. Immediately after its release on January 21, the album dominated many global charts, including 

  • Reached #1 on China’s QQ Music daily and weekly digital bestseller charts
  • Ranked #3 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and #5 on the European iTunes Album Chart
  • Topped the iTunes Album Charts in Russia and other countries, and charted in 23 countries
  • Ranked #3 on the Apple Music Album Chart, entering charts in 41 countries

The title song “HER” also performed well, ranking on the iTunes charts in five countries.

As for album sales, Minnie’s first mini-album “HER” sold 53,786 copies on the release day. The following copies were sold on subsequent days

  • Day 2 – 30,213
  • Day 3 – 26,400
  • Day 4 – 20, 692
  • Day 5 – 11,638
  • Day 6 – 16, 566
  • Day 7 – 33, 917

The album sold a total of 193, 212 copies in its debut week. “HER” features collaborations with (G)I-DLE member Yuqi and WayV’s Ten.

KickFlip

JYP Entertainment’s new boy group KickFlip made their debut with the mini-album “Flip It, Kick It” and lead single “Mama Said”. Released on January 20, “Flip It, Kick It” sold 243,949 copies on the first day, followed by 

  • Day 2 – 24,086
  • Day 3 – 2,402
  • Day 4 – 2,515
  • Day 5 – 1,753
  • Day 6 – 422
  • Day 7 – 1,754

With this, KickFlip recorded the second-highest first-week sales of 2025 with 276,881 copies, only surpassed by SEVNTEEN-BSS’ “Teleparty” (529,936).

Lastly, fans can look forward to an even more exciting February with comebacks from BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Lisa, G-Dragon (rumored), ONF, and more K-pop acts.
