SM Entertainment’s British boy group dearALICE is gearing up for a highly-anticipated global debut.
The new group has taken a major leap towards full-fledged global launch by signing a contract with a US-based music label, Gamma.
On November 27, SM Entertainment announced that they have formed a strategic partnership with US music label Gamma through its North American subsidiary, a joint venture with Kakao Entertainment. The label will manage and support the global debut and future activities of dearALICE.
Founded in 2023 by Larry Jackson, former Apple Music Creative Director, and Ike Youssef, ex-Interscope CFO, Gamma is a music label and media company boasting partnerships with A-list talent like Usher, Snoop Dogg, Death Row Records, Rick Ross, and Sexy Red.
As a result of this partnership, dearALICE will embark on a global journey, starting with the release of their debut single worldwide before the end of 2024.
In a recent meeting held in Los Angeles, key executives from SM Entertainment, Kakao Entertainment, and Gamma came together to formalize a strategic partnership. The signing ceremony was attended by the entire dearALICE group, comprising Blaise Landsbert-Noon, Dexter Greenwood, James Sharp, Oliver Quinn, and Reese Carter.
This partnership between SM Entertainment, Kakao Entertainment, and Gamma will involve joint efforts in producing the group’s debut album, as well as managing its worldwide release, distribution, marketing, and brand partnerships.
