EDAM Entertainment, a talent agency founded by her longtime manager Bae Jong Han in 2020, represents IU and WOODZ.

On October 21, the agency announced through her official fan cafe, stating, “We inform you that our address has changed due to company relocation, and we guide you again on the support application method. Please note that mail receipt is not possible at the previous address.”

EDAM Entertainment faces criticism for allegedly relocating without informing IU. Fans had noticed issues with mail delivery to her old address and asked IU directly if the agency had moved. IU denied knowledge of the relocation, saying, ‘As far as I know, no.’

In a phone call with Sports Kyuhyung, a representative of the agency shared, “We are currently verifying facts.”

EDAM Entertainment’s troubles with IU fans intensified after April’s concert ticket fiasco. A loyal fan was mistakenly identified as a scammer, banned from the show, and expelled from the fan club. Despite their apology, fans were furious and sent a truck to protest.

On January 6, 2020, IU officially signed with EDAM Entertainment, a management company founded by Bae Jong Han, her trusted manager since debut.
