ENHYPEN’s highly anticipated Dark Moon special MEMORABILIA has gotten off to a sluggish start, with first-day sales figures alarmingly lower than their debut album.

Despite the group’s growing popularity and dedicated fan base, the album’s lackluster performance has raised concerns among fans.

On May 13, ZEROBASEONE and ENHYPEN released new albums. ZEROBASEONE’s album, You had me at HELLO, was a huge success, selling over a million copies, while ENHYPEN’s album didn’t meet expectations.

Their Dark Moon special album MEMORABILIA sold over 153,510 copies on the first day. Comparably, their debut EP BORDER : DAY ONE sold 229,991 copies.

ENHYPEN achieved impressive first-day sales with their previous two albums, DARK MOON (1,108,337 copies) and ORANGE BLOOD (1,383,292 copies), both of which surpassed the one million mark.

With their track record of million-seller albums, expectations were high that MEMORABILIA would follow suit, making the album’s underwhelming sales a notable upset.

The K-pop industry is facing a worrying trend, as entertainment agencies’ financial performances and lackluster sales figures suggest a decline in the genre’s popularity.

On another note, ENHYPEN has recently wrapped up their FATE PLUS encore concert and is set to begin their comeback activities.
