ENHYPEN’s new album ROMANCE : UNTOLD has achieved remarkable sales figures, nearly reaching 2 million copies sold on its first day.
While they narrowly missed joining the exclusive club of groups that have sold 2 million copies on their first day, they are likely to achieve this feat with their next release.
According to the Hanteo Chart, ENHYPEN’s studio album ROMANCE: UNTOLD sold 1,883,143 copies on its release day, topping the daily album chart. This achievement surpasses their previous record of 1,871,269 copies sold in the first week of their mini-album ORANGE BLOOD.
With 2.2 million pre-orders, ENHYPEN is on track to become a ‘double million seller’ within the first week of the album’s release.
By selling 1,883,143 copies on its first day, ROMANCE: UNTOLD has officially entered the top 10 list of highest first-day sales by K-pop groups in the Hanteo Chart’s records.
At the time of writing, ENHYPEN’s title song ‘XO (Only If You Say Yes)’ has achieved global success, topping iTunes ‘Top Albums’ and ‘Top Chart’ in 10 countries.
Additionally, it has dominated domestic music charts, reaching #1 on Bugs’ real-time chart just three hours after its release.
The MV ranked #1 on YouTube’s ‘Trending Worldwide’ and trending in the top videos in 37 countries. In addition, the music video for XO (Only If You Say Yes) has garnered 23 million views in less than a day of its release.
Lastly, ENHYPEN will begin promotional activities with a performance of XO (Only If You Say Yes) on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ today.
