ENHYPEN member Sunoo has been revealed to have made a substantial donation to support patient care at Samsung Seoul Hospital. According to reports, the young K-pop idol generously donated 100 million won (approximately USD 69,000) to the hospital’s Patient Happiness Fund.
On top of all, he secretly made the donation without any intention to draw attention to himself.
On March 11, ENHYPEN’s agency BELIFT LAB informed Dispatch about the donation, stating, ‘We quietly carried out the donation according to Sunoo’s wishes. It will be used meaningfully as a Patient Happiness Fund.’
The 21-year-old singer donated 100 million won to Samsung Seoul Hospital last December. He kept it a secret, but now the hospital has honored him by adding his name to their esteemed ‘Hall of Fame’.
As stated earlier, his donation will go towards the Patient Happiness Fund. It will help cover medical costs and support projects that benefit patients at Samsung Seoul Hospital.
In 2020, Sunoo entered the spotlight as a member of ENHYPEN, a 7-member group that formed the reality show “I-LAND”. The group will celebrate their 5th debut anniversary in November this year. They have gained huge popularity since their debut with their infectious music.
ENHYPIN is currently on their ‘WALK THE LINE‘ world tour, with shows already held in Seoul, Japan, and more. They are making history as the fastest group to perform at a Japanese stadium, just 4 years and 7 months after debuting.
Next stops include Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo (July) and Osaka’s Yanmar Stadium in August. On June 21, they will perform at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok.
