The upcoming film “Secret: Untold Melody” starring EXO’s D.O., Won Jin Ah, and Shin Ye Eun has announced its release date.
“Secret: Untold Melody” is a remake of the beloved 2007 Taiwanese classic “Secret”. The previously released stills featuring the leading cast from the movie hint at a spellbinding romance.
“Secret: Untold Melody” tells the story of a talented male high school student Yoo Joon (Doh Kyung Soo aka D.O) who transfers to a new school. On his first day, he is drawn to a mysterious piano melody and discovers a female student Jung Ah (Won Jin Ah) playing in the practice room.
The trailer begins with a piano battle scene. It then cuts to the first meeting between Yoo Joon and Jung Ah. As the story progresses, Yoo Joon and Jung Ah spend time together, including playing piano as a duo.
However, their relationship becomes complicated due to secrets and misunderstandings. Meanwhile, In Hee (Shin Ye Eun), the violinist and the class representative, develops feelings for Yoo Joon.
Besides being a popular member of EXO, D.O. is steadily building her acting career with roles in “The Moon”, “Bad Prosecutor”, “100 Days My Prince”, and more. He has another exciting Disney+ project “The Manipulated” releasing this year, which also stars Ji Chang Wook.
Won Jin Ah’s notable acting credits include “Bloodhound”, “Melting Me Softly”, “She Would Never Know”, and more.
Last but not least, Shin Ye Eun is making her screen debut with the movie. After proving her acting skills in tvN’s recent drama “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born”, she will appear next in Disney+’s “The Murky Stream.”
Meanwhile, “Secret: Untold Melody” will hit Korean theaters on January 28. It is set to be released in Indonesian cinemas on February 5.
