Xiumin from EXO is all set to star in a fantasy drama.
I&B 100 revealed the casting news about Xiumin on January 29. The agency announced that he’ll be appearing in a new drama called Huh Restaurant which is set to air in 2024. Xiumin will be playing the main character, Huh Kyun.
Huh Restaurant is a fantasy romantic comedy based on a web novel with the same name. It tells the story of Huh Kyun, who lived during the Joseon Dynasty, and now, 400 years later, he’s running a restaurant in modern times.
Xiumin portrays the character of Huh Kyun, who is a self-proclaimed genius with incredible writing skills and a great sense of aesthetics. He brings the character to life in a three-dimensional way, especially as he transitions from the time slip to the modern era.
The agency mentioned that Xiumin is going to take on a new character in Huh Restaurant and continue his active involvement in various fields. The drama will be broadcast on OTT platforms both in Korea and abroad later this year.
