Stray Kids members Felix and Hyunjin are gaining thousands of followers on Instagram and making waves in the global fashion scene. More recently, Felix gained about 985,000 followers in one week, while Hyunjin gained around 948,000. These increases brought Felix to more than 7.1 million followers and Hyunjin to over 6.7 million. Their accounts had not been active for long, which made the spike more noticeable.
Last month, Felix became a House Ambassador for Louis Vuitton. This marked his first major global fashion role. In July, Hyunjin was named a global ambassador for Versace. He also became the first Korean artist to represent the brand at a global level.
On August 2, 2023, six members of Stray Kids opened personal Instagram accounts. This was part of the group’s fifth anniversary celebration with their fandom. The accounts were created by Bang Chan (@gnabnahc), Changbin (@jutdwae), Hyunjin (@hynjinnnn), Felix (@yong.lixx), Seungmin (@miniverse.___), and I.N (@i.2.n.8).
Felix reached one million followers in 1 hour and 36 minutes, setting a new record for fifth-generation K-pop idols. All six accounts passed one million followers within six hours of opening. Of all the members, Felix and Hyunjin’s followers are growing at a pretty dramatic pace.
Han and Lee Know did not create accounts at that time. Han told fans through Bubble that he did not feel ready to manage a personal account and preferred to wait.
Lee Know said he felt more comfortable using Bubble and had little interest in Instagram. He joked that he would “take over” the group’s official account instead.
On the work front, Stray Kids is scheduled to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards along with fellow K-pop group TXT. This places them among other major K-pop acts that have performed at the VMAs, including BTS and BLACKPINK.
