Finally, the King of K-pop has announced his return!
On October 31 at midnight (KST), G-Dragon announced his solo comeback with the single “POWER,” releasing today at 6 PM KSY.
On October 30, he shared a teaser from the filming site, hinting at an official announcement soon. Moreover, the song was first previewed at “You Quiz on the Block,” where GD appeared as a guest.
Previously, the Korean media outlet reported that the 36-year-old rapper will drop single on October 25. It also surfaced that he registered a song titled “Power” on ASCAP earlier this month.
G-Dragon’s solo career took off in 2009 with the release of his debut album “Heartbreaker”, which achieved immense success. He followed up with his first mini-album “ONE OF A KIND” in 2012, and then his second full-length album “COUP D’ETAT” in 2013.
After a brief hiatus, “This Love” rapper returned with his critically acclaimed album “Kwon Ji Yong” in 2017, a nod to his real name.
The king of K-pop, returns after seven long years, ready to shatter his own records and make history once more.
