BIGBANG’s iconic leader G-Dragon is gearing up to release a studio album. According to insiders, the K-pop superstar is set to drop a brand-new solo album in February, followed by a concert in March.
As reported by @Style on January 22, G-Dragon will drop a full-length album in mid-February and hold a solo concert in March.
According to the report, he has lined up a bunch of variety show appearances, a brand-new solo album, a solo concert, and a world tour, all packed into the first half of the year.
As reported by @Style, G-Dragon will hold a two-day solo concert at Goyang Stadium in late March. This will be his first solo concert in about 8 years. Afterward, he will embark on a world tour, following up on his 2017 tour ‘ACT III, MOTTE’.
Sources close to the “POWER” rapper revealed that they initially eyed Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul for the concert. However, they ultimately opted for Goyang Stadium, which has a larger capacity.
G-Dragon will host a new music variety show MBC’s “Good Day” in a special collaboration with producer Kim Tae Ho. Many K-pop and Kdrama stars such as Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Hae In, aespa, BSS, and more will appear as guests.
G-Dragon’s solo full-length album is slated for a mid-February release, perfectly timed with his variety show debut. Notably, this album will mark his first full-length release in 11 years, following 2013’s ‘COUP D’ETAT’. The album will feature eight tracks, including the previously released ‘POWER‘ and ‘HOME SWEET HOME’.
G-Dragon’s tour is set to kick off a new era of global activities, following his recent partnership with US label EMPIRE.
