On December 29, it was revealed that none of the BLACKPINK members will be signing individual contracts with YG Entertainment. This has sparked a lot of speculation about which agencies they might join.
After the announcement was made by YG, there were speculations that Jisoo from BLACKPINK might sign a contract with Galaxy Corporation, an entertainment agency that G-DRAGON of BIGBANG recently joined. However, the agency has completely denied those rumors.
When Galaxy Corporation officials were contacted about signing Jisoo, they flatly rejected the claims.
Previously, it was reported that Jennie and Jisoo will be establishing their own one-person agencies. While Jennie has launched her personal label ODD ATELIER, it is remain to be seen whether Jisoo will establish her agency or become a part of another.
As for solo activities, Korean media outlets are reporting that Jisoo will be focusing on her acting career. She has also reportedly become a part of a big budget movie titled Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint starring Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Nana.
